On 21-22 November 2014 the Partners participated in the TUNED UP! kick-off meeting in Vienna. The main objective of the meeting was to define the assumptions of national research with the focus on business needs and expectations on the diversity management topic. Also, we wanted to find the answer for most fundamental questions related to the project’s topic:
How to make diversity more friendly?
How to overcome stereotypes and convince managers to benefit from diverse teams?
It has been decided that on the basis of these assumptions, a desk research will be conducted in each country in order to produce a report including national conditions of diversity management, which will be then compiled in a comparative report. This task will form the first step in the process of creating the tools planned within the project.
After 3 months of intensive work, the final report on cross cultural analysis has been finalised and published by the project Team. Through this work package, which has been led and coordinated by Hominem, partners have come up with responses to the crucial question of the project: What SMEs need and require in terms of strategic management learning and training?
